Sent this before (i post all my blogs by email) but it didnt turn up so ive sent it again. its a holiday today .. well for those of us that dont have an exam that next day. Converted my servers filesystem from XFS to ReiserFS today after i found out ( the hard way ) that XFS has quite bad performance on slow computers with little ram. That took a while to copy out the 4GBs of stuff off it

I wrote a wmp ( windows media player ) skin in july ( 2004 ) its 32 pixel by 32 pixels (the same size as the wmp9 logo) . normally it looks like the wmp logo but when u click the play icon in the middle it ... plays !! the 4 colored areas around the centre are split into halves for buttons. the skin

My techincal update .... 0. my laptop's HDD has/is failing. :( 1. My server however is quite good, everything working sweet, got a total of 4.5 GBs of data backed up on it ! 2. a self-defragging fs ? I have a fully defragged drive , and just by doing something that has a lot of disk read/write (eg installing sp2) i get 1850 fragments in a 316MB file.
